Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin believes that Michael Clarke's innings of 148 against England has underlined his position as the world's best batsman.
Clarke put together a 200-run partnership with Haddin as Australia seized control of the second Test match in Adelaide, and the wicketkeeper has insisted that the 31-year-old's performances have reached "another level" since taking over as captain in 2011.
The 36-year-old told reporters: "Since Michael's taken over as captain, his batting has gone to another level.
"Once he gets past 20, he seems to go on to get some really big hundreds. His form over the last two years has been as good as anyone in the world. It's been good to watch."
Haddin also scored a century as Australia posted a score of 570 on day two in Adelaide.
