Bowler James Anderson believes that England's batsmen will return stronger on day four as they attempt to save the first Ashes Test match in Brisbane.
After being set a target of 561, England were quickly reduced to 24-2 at the close of play, but Anderson has insisted that his side have not struggled with the pace being offered by Australia's bowling attack.
The 31-year-old told Sky Sports News: "The pace hasn't been a worry. We have faced much quicker than this in previous series, and we have prepared for them bowling quick at us.
"We've got a lot of quality in our lineup and a lot of fighting spirit, and I'm sure that we can come back stronger tomorrow."
