England will be without Stuart Broad for the fourth and final Test against India in Nagpur after the bowler suffered a bruised heel.
The 26-year-old was thought to be a doubt for the Test and captain Alastair Cook has since confirmed that Broad will be unable to play his part in the last game of the series.
Despite his injury, Broad has not returned home to England as he could be fit for the upcoming Twenty20 tournament, which he is due to captain.
"Stuart is out of this Test match," said Cook. "His scan has showed a bruised heel, and we'll assess him over the next day or so to see what happens with the Twenty20. We'll know a bit more when it settles down."
Meanwhile, bowler Steven Finn, who has not trained today, is expected to undergo late fitness tests after he suffered a disc strain in his lower back.
The fourth Test gets underway tomorrow with England heading into the clash with a 2-1 lead.
