Batsman Sachin Tendulkar has been given the all-clear to feature in the upcoming Indian Premier League following a medical examination.
The Indian international has been struggling with a toe injury that had reportedly thrown his IPL participation into doubt.
However, following a consultation in London, the Mumbai Indians captain has been told that there is no risk of him causing further damage to the injury.
"I can categorically say Sachin Tendulkar is available for the entire duration of the IPL," said a spokesman. "He has gone to London just for consultation and is scheduled to be back on March 31. There is no question of any surgery.
"He will also be there for the opening ceremony at Chennai and for the opening encounter."
The toe complaint is believed to have been causing the 38-year-old problems for a decade.
