South Africa win by four runs on Duckworth Lewis method

South Africa beat Pakistan by four runs via the Duckworth Lewis method in the first T20 international.

South Africa have been declared winners against Pakistan by the Duckworth Lewis method after rain stopped play in the first Twenty20 international in Johannesburg.

Proteas set a total of 154 from their 20 overs, and have won by four runs with the tourists 60-2.

The first to go was Ahmed Shehzad, bowled by Lonwabo Tsotsobe for nine runs, before Nasir Jamshed (18) was caught and bowled by JP Duminy.

Mohammad Hafeez and Umar Akmal were at the crease when the weather took a turn for the worse, meaning that Pakistan will be playing to level the series in Cape Town on Friday.
