Dimuth Karunaratne and Kaushal Silva have proved a cautious opening pair at the crease, with the duo scoring 35 runs between them from 96 balls.

Karunaratne has also scored three boundaries for his team.

Sri Lanka, who hit 388 in their first innings, boast all 10 of their batsmen still in play and remain overwhelming favourites to make up the deficit ahead of the next session.
