Arsenal to hand Ryo Miyaichi key role?

Japanese youngster Ryo Miyaichi could be given a first-team role with Arsenal next season, according to reports.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could reportedly hand Japanese youngster Ryo Miyaichi a key role at the club next season.

The 19-year-old, who impressed on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season, had recently been linked with a move to Ajax.

However, the Dutch club's boss Frank de Boer admitted that the club have missed out on the chance to sign the youngster, prompting suggestions of a first-team role for the Gunners next season.

Miyaichi has made just two first-team appearances for Arsenal.
