Roma have secured the services of AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy on a six-month loan deal.
In the summer the Italy international joined Monaco on a season-long loan agreement, but that was recently cut short due to a lack of playing time.
However, rather than return to play at San Siro, the 23-year-old has instead been granted permission to move to the capital.
