Arsene Wenger confirms shoulder dislocation for Mathieu Debuchy

Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy faces another spell on the sidelines after suffering a dislocated shoulder in the win over Stoke, confirms Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Mathieu Debuchy suffered a dislocated shoulder during his side's 3-0 win over Stoke City this afternoon.

The right-back sustained the injury as he slid off the pitch in the 12th minute, following a challenge with Stoke winger Marko Arnautovic.

Speaking to Sky Sports News after the match, Wenger said: "He has to see a specialist then we see where we go from there. A dislocated shoulder can take a while."

Debuchy, who joined the Gunners from Newcastle United in the summer, had only recently returned to the starting lineup following a spell on the sidelines with ankle ligament damage.
