Arsenal have reportedly identified Massimiliano Allegri and Mikel Arteta as potential replacements for manager Unai Emery.
Despite being provided with the funds to make several high-profile additions in the summer, Emery has witnessed his side struggle for consistency in the Premier League.
After the 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, the Gunners now sit six points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea in the top-flight standings.
While Emery will allegedly be given another month to improve results, The Mirror claims that Arsenal are already looking at possible replacements.
Allegri is currently available having ended his trophy-laden spell at Juventus in the summer, while Arteta is being tipped to eventually take a top job in European football after building his reputation as assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Arsenal are next in action when they face Vitoria de Guimaraes in the Europa League on Wednesday afternoon, before facing in-form Leicester City in the East Midlands at the weekend.
