Olivier Giroud: 'Arsenal suit me'

Olivier Giroud feels that he can adapt quickly to the Premier League after signing for Arsenal, who he believes suit his style of play.

New Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud believes that the Gunners' attacking style under Arsene Wenger will suit his game.

Arsenal confirmed the signing of the France international from Ligue 1 champions Montpellier earlier today, for a fee reported to be in the region of £13m.

He told the club's official website: "I will need some time to adapt of course, but I am not worried about that. I think I will adapt well.

"I am a player who likes to play, who likes to participate in the game. That is why I think the way Arsenal play will suit me.

"I like scoring goals and Arsenal create a lot of chances, so if I do well, then we will do well."

Giroud was the joint top scorer in the French league last season with 21 goals.
