Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly hoping to do away with out-of-favour midfielder Matteo Guendouzi before the transfer window closes on October 5.
Guendouzi has not turned out for the Gunners since being involved in a fracas with Brighton & Hove Albion's Neal Maupay, and the Arsenal midfielder has been strongly linked with an exit following that incident.
According to L'Equipe, the 21-year-old is in an open conflict with Arteta and his future at the Emirates Stadium appears to be non-existent.
Marseille are supposedly interested in taking the former Lorient man on loan for the 2020-21 campaign, with the Gunners still not giving up in their pursuit of Lyon's Houssem Aouar.
Guendouzi, who has notched up a solitary goal from 82 appearances at Arsenal, is also said to be attracting interest from unnamed clubs in Spain and Germany.
