Mesut Ozil expected to make Arsenal comeback next week

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claims that Mesut Ozil is likely to make his return to action from a hamstring injury next week.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mesut Ozil is out of this weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic, but could return to action the following week.

The German international has been on the sidelines since injuring his hamstring during Arsenal's Champions League exit to Bayern Munich in March.

While the Wembley trip and visit of West Ham United on Tuesday are too soon for the midfielder, Ozil could return to the squad for the Gunners' away match against Hull City.

Wenger also confirmed in Thursday morning's press conference that Aaron Ramsey will start against Wigan after making his return as a substitute in last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Everton.

Laurent Koscielny could also make his return to action against the Hammers next week.
