Former Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov is reportedly considering making an approach for Charlton Athletic.
Usmanov has spent the last 11 years with the North London outfit, but having failed to secure full ownership of the Gunners, the Russian opted to accepted a bid for his shares from majority owner Stan Kroenke.
The 64-year-old has previously been linked with Everton, but The Mirror reports that a bid could be made for League One outfit Charlton.
Owner Roland Duchatelet is allegedly happy to sell the Addicks for a fee in the region of £20m, a figure which would not pose a problem to Usmanov, who was willing to invest heavily in Arsenal.
The report claims that Usmanov sees potential in Charlton, who currently sit in 10th place in the third-tier standings.
