Arsenal's Arsene Wenger: 'Jack Wilshere might return for Liverpool clash'

Arsene Wenger claims that Jack Wilshere "might" be fit for this Saturday's Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that midfielder Jack Wilshere may return to the first team for Saturday's Premier League battle against Liverpool.

The England international has been struggling with fitness since picking up an ankle injury during the Gunners' 4-0 victory over Coventry City in the FA Cup last month.

However, Wenger has revealed in today's press conference that Wilshere "might" be fit for this weekend's encounter at Anfield.

The Frenchman also revealed that Mikel Arteta, who played for Liverpool's rivals Everton before making the move to North London in 2011, should be fit.
