Arsene Wenger: 'We must focus on own game'

Arsene Wenger urges his players to put the Southampton disappointment behind them and continue to perform to a high level.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that his players must remain focused on their own performances and not worry about Manchester City, now that they have been knocked off the Premier League top spot.

Wenger said that his side did not play well enough in the 2-2 draw against Southampton and has urged the team to improve against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

"We have to look at ourselves and only think we have to move forward," Wenger told the club's official website. "If you continue to move forward week after week you will make the difference.

"The kind of performance we delivered at Southampton will not move us forward so let's focus to come back on Sunday and produce a good performance.

"Our future lies there, to be capable to repeat a top-level performance that demands top level-commitment in every single game."

Arsenal are a point behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
