AC Milan have reportedly entered the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin.
The 23-year-old, who arrived in Spain from Borussia Dortmund last summer, has been told by Real manager Jose Mourinho that he can leave the Bernabeu during the current transfer window.
Liverpool and Arsenal were believed to be involved in a two-way tug-of-war for Sahin's signature.
However the Rossoneri, who were beaten 5-1 by Real in the World Football Challenge earlier today, are now also preparing a bid for the player, according to Calciomercatonews.com.
Sahin made four La Liga appearances last season.
