Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly among a number of clubs tracking the progress of 18-year-old Club Brugge striker Cyril Ngonge.

Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly competing for the signature of Club Brugge striker Cyril Ngonge.

The 18-year-old's form in the Champions Youth League - which has seen him score four goals in as many games - is understood to have attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe.

The Mirror reports that Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs to have sent scouts to watch the youngster in action this season.

However, they face stiff competition for his signature with Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Inter Milan and Lille also understood to be tracking the striker's progress, while Brugge are desperate to keep him.

Ngonge is considered one of Belgium's brightest prospects and has represented his country at Under-19 level.
