The agent of Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has claimed that his client is attracting interest from Serie A.
The Spaniard made his first Premier League appearance of the season against Leicester City last weekend having overcome a serious knee injury.
Bellerin has a contract at the Emirates Stadium until the end of the 2022-23 campaign, while he has been appointed as one of the captains in Unai Emery's squad.
The defender's long-term future at the club has seemingly been thrown into question, though, with his agent Alberto Botines revealing that an unnamed Italian club want to sign him.
"At the moment, he's focused on the team's commitments. He comes from a bad injury and is returning to his usual level," Botines told Sky Sports Italia.
"He likes Italy, there's already been interest from an Italian club but I can't reveal it. He has a long contract and it won't be easy to take him away from Arsenal, he's their vice-captain. We'll see how the season goes."
Bellerin has made 186 appearances for the Gunners since joining the club from Barcelona in 2011.
