Club Brugge forward Charles De Ketelaere reportedly favours a move to Serie A champions AC Milan over Leeds United, despite the latter tabling a offer worth up to £29.7m.

Club Brugge forward Charles De Ketelaere reportedly favours a move to Serie A champions AC Milan over Leeds United.

The 21-year-old excelled in front of goal for the Belgian top-flight champions last season, scoring 18 times and registering 10 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.

The 6ft 3in forward's impressive form is believed to have caught the eye of a number of European clubs including Leeds, who are prepared to use the funds generated from the expected sale of Raphinha to recruit the Belgium international.

According to Belgian news outlet HLN, Brugge have received a 'concrete offer' from Leeds worth £25.5m with add-ons which could take the deal up to £29.7m.

However, the report adds that De Ketelaere is not yet convinced about a potential move to Elland Road and is currently favouring a move to Milan, who can offer Champions League football.

The report also claims that De Ketelaere's representatives are aware that both Arsenal and Leicester City are also closely monitoring the forward, but a switch to Milan is believed to be the Belgian's preference, with the English duo yet to express concrete interest in Brugge's star man.

It Is thought that there is still some distance in negotiations between Milan and Brugge, with the former's latest offer totalling to around £17m.
