Inter Milan reportedly beat Arsenal and Barcelona in the race to sign Racing Club striker Lautaro Martinez.

Inter Milan have reportedly won the race to sign Racing Club striker Lautaro Martinez.

The 20-year-old has been linked with both Arsenal and Barcelona in recent months ahead of a probable move to Europe during the summer.

However, according to Sport Mediaset, Inter have agreed a fee of £17m with the player's Argentine club ahead of a transfer being made official at the end of the season.

The report suggests that Martinez will undergo a series of medical tests in South America, before completing further examinations in Italy during July.

Martinez has already scored 22 goals in 50 outings for Racing Club, while the attacker has eight strikes in 11 appearances for Argentina Under-20s.
