Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
It is believed that the 27-year-old has been offered to a number of Premier League clubs for £30m, despite president Josep Maria Bartomeu's claims that he is not for sale.
According to The Mirror, City are in pole position to sign the Spaniard, who would increase the amount of home-grown players in their squad due to his development at Arsenal.
The Gunners have first refusal on Fabregas and it is believed that the player himself wants to return to the club.
The report goes on to state that City are unsure about the future of Yaya Toure and that Fabregas would prove to be better value for money than the Ivory Coast international.
