Marseille are reportedly confident that they will succeed in signing Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud this summer.
The France international has been linked with Everton and West Ham United, but the Ligue 1 club believe that they are about to recruit him in an agreement worth £24.7m plus add-ons, reports The Telegraph.
Giroud's future at the Gunners was cast into doubt this week when the club smashed its transfer record to bring Alexandre Lacazette to North London for £52.6m.
The striker, who is expected to find game time harder to come by following the arrival of his compatriot, expressed interest in a potential move to Marseille in a previous interview.
"I am not insensitive to the approaches of the French clubs and especially that of a mythical club like Marseille," he told Telefoot.
Everton are said to be monitoring Giroud as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who is believed to be on the brink of joining Manchester United.
