Roma have reportedly informed Arsenal that they are unwilling to meet the asking price of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
After being loaned out to the Italian giants in the summer, the playmaker has contributed four goals and one assist from 12 appearances in Serie A and the Europa League.
According to The Sun, the 31-year-old would like to complete a permanent switch to Stadio Olimpico during the summer transfer window.
However, the report claims that Roma have no intention of shelling out £20m for the Armenia international, whose contract expires at Arsenal in 2021.
Roma are said to have failed with a bid of £8.5m in January, leaving both clubs to try to find a compromise in order to reach a positive conclusion.
