Ligue 1 outfit Rennes have told Arsenal and Inter Milan that they can forget about trying to sign Yann M'Vila until after Euro 2012.
The Gunners in particular have been long-term admirers of the defensive midfielder and tried to sign him with a sensational last-minute bid on transfer deadline day last August.
Inter Milan are also keen to try to snap up the Frenchman but have been told by the player's employers that M'Vila is going nowhere until after this summer's championship.
Rennes are hoping that M'Vila will place himself in the shop window with some good performances during Euro 2012 that could lead to a bidding war among Europe's elite clubs.
M'Vila, who is valued at £25m by the French club, has reportedly told friends in the past that he would prefer a switch to North London.
