Theo Walcott 'agrees four-year contract to remain with Arsenal'

A report suggests that Theo Walcott has committed his future to Arsenal by agreeing to a four-year deal with the club with wages worth £100,000 per week.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has agreed a new four-year deal with the club, according to a report.

The England international's current contract with the Gunners was due to expire at the end of next season, while reports suggested that his future could lie away from the Emirates Stadium.

However, the club's hierarchy have moved to secure the long-term future of the 26-year-old by offering him a deal until 2019 and £100,000 per week wages, which the forward has agreed to sign, reports The Mirror.

Walcott joined Arsenal in 2006 from Southampton for £12m.
