Roma are reportedly lining up a move for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.
The 31-year-old returned to Atletico in 2017 after three years with Chelsea but has struggled to replicate the form that he showed during his first spell with the Madrid giants.
Indeed, the Spain international has managed just seven goals in 44 La Liga appearances since his return, netting just twice in 19 outings in all competitions this season.
Costa's current deal at the Wanda Metropolitano will expire next summer, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Roma are exploring the possibility of bringing him to Serie A.
The report claims that the Italian giants have tried to sign the experienced striker on two previous occasions, including during last summer's transfer window.
Costa returned from injury to feature in both legs of Atletico's last-16 Champions League clash with European champions Liverpool.
