Ousmane Dembele: "I return in two months"

Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele halves his injury diagnosis by claiming that he will be back in two months.

Barcelona's record signing Ousmane Dembele has insisted that he will be back on the pitch in "two months".

The 20-year-old completed a £135m move to Camp Nou at the end of August, just one year after he moved to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in a £13m deal.

The Frenchman played just three games for his new side, forming a new up-front trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, before he was ruled out for three to four months with a thigh injury.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, the youngster voiced his support for Barcelona following their 6-1 league win over Getafe and appeared to halve his own diagnosis by declaring: "I return in two months"

Barcelona were widely mocked on social media for taking to the field wearing 'Courage Dembele' T-shirts ahead of the game.
