Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Inter Milan.
Vidal was only regarded as a squad player during his first campaign at Camp Nou, making a total of 29 starts and 24 substitute appearances in all competitions.
According to Tuttosport, that has resulted in Ernesto Valverde being prepared to sell the Chile international, especially if it boosts the club's efforts when it comes to making new signings.
The report claims that Inter have shown an interest in the 32-year-old as newly-appointed boss Antonio Conte looks to bring in further fresh faces.
Conte and Vidal have previously worked together during a successful period at Juventus, suggesting that an official approach could be made in the coming weeks.
Vidal has two years remaining on his contract at the Catalan giants.
