Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen will reportedly be offered a one-year contract extension by the La Liga champions.
The 32-year-old has made just 25 appearances for Ernesto Valverde's team since moving from Arsenal in 2014.
Mundo Deportivo claims that the Blaugrana boss wants to add another year to Vermaelen's current contract, which expires at the end of next season.
The Belgium international played regularly for Barca when Samuel Umtiti suffered a hamstring injury in December, until Vermaelen injured himself later in the campaign.
The report suggests that Barcelona will confirm the news after the World Cup finishes.
