Bayern Munich want to extend the contract of Alphonso Davies until the summer of 2025, according to a report.

Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to extend Alphonso Davies's contract at the Allianz Arena until 2025.

The 19-year-old joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019 and has a contract with the Bundesliga champions until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

The left-back has been in impressive form at club level during the current season, contributing one goal and eight assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.

Davies provided the assist for Robert Lewandowski to send Bayern 3-0 ahead against Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday night, meanwhile, and according to Sport1, the German giants want to open talks over a new deal.

The report claims that Der FCB are hoping to tie the Canada international to the club until 2025.

Davies, who was born in Ghana, only made six first-team appearances for Bayern in the second half of the 2018-19 campaign but has been a key player during the current season.
