Bayern Munich's Mario Gomez is reportedly on the verge of a move to Fiorentina.

Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is reportedly on the verge of joining Fiorentina.

The Germany international's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks following the arrival of new coach Pep Guardiola.

Napoli tactician Rafael Benitez is reportedly interested in the striker, but Fiorentina are now favourites to sign him, according to Tuttosport.

Fiorentina are reported to have offered Bayern €15m (£17m) for the forward, but the European champions are holding out for around €20m (£23m).
