Real Betis 'eye Radamel Falcao swoop'

Real Betis consider a summer move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao, according to a report.

Real Betis are reportedly considering a summer move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao.

The 33-year-old is enjoying another productive season at Monaco, finding the back of the net on 13 occasions in 33 appearances in all competitions.

Falcao's contract with his Ligue 1 side will expire next summer, however, and according to reports in Spain, Betis want to tempt the Colombia international back to La Liga.

The striker scored 52 times in 68 appearances in the top flight of Spanish football for Atletico Madrid, while he has since managed 80 goals in 132 games for Monaco in all competitions.

Falcao has also previously spent time with English giants Manchester United and Chelsea, but only managed five Premier League goals during the two disappointing loan spells.

Betis, who lost 3-2 to their bitter rivals Sevilla on Saturday night, are currently ninth in La Liga, just three points off the top six.
