Birmingham City boss Lee Clark urges his players to build on Friday's 3-2 win over Middlesbrough in the Championship.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has told his players that they must build on Friday's 3-2 win over Middlesbrough.

The Blues fell behind twice at St Andrews but Marlon King scored twice and Wade Elliott also struck as they racked up only their fourth home victory of the season.

"It's important now that we kick on," Clark told Sky Sports News. "This has happened on a few occasions this season and the next game it's gone flat.

"Hopefully it'll give the lads belief. We've just beaten an excellent team who are going to be right in the mix and we can go on from there."

The win has lifted Birmingham up to 18th place in the table.
