Steve Kean has revealed that he was "proud" after seeing his Blackburn Rovers side claim a point away at Liverpool this afternoon.
Rovers took a 1-0 lead into the break courtesy of a Charlie Adam own goal, only for Maxi Rodriguez to draw the Reds level after the break.
However, Kean's men held firm thereafter to register a 1-1 draw on Merseyside.
"We were disciplined in defence and created quite a few chances on the break," Kean told BBC Radio Five Live. "In the second half, sometimes you need great saves and lucky breaks.
"I am proud of the lads. I think we showed that if we keep our discipline we can come to places like this and dig out results."
Next up for Blackburn is a trip to Manchester United.
