Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jake Kean has agreed a two-year extension to his contract at Ewood Park.
Kean's initial deal was due to run until June 2014 but he has now extended his stay at Rovers until the summer of 2016.
A club statement read: "Blackburn Rovers are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Jake Kean has committed his future to the club."
"The highly-rated England Under-20 international has signed a two-year extension to his current contract, which will keep him at Ewood Park until June 2016.
"He has been Rovers' second-choice keeper for every Championship fixture this season and is relishing a return to Pride Park this weekend."
Kean signed from Blackburn's opponents on Saturday, Derby County, three years ago.
