Players from Bolton Wanderers are to visit Fabrice Muamba in hospital ahead of Tuesday's FA Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old's cardiac arrest on the White Hart Lane pitch last weekend forced the original match to be abandoned.
He was taken to the London Chest Hospital, where he has since made a steady improvement.
Manager Owen Coyle will check with hospital staff to see if Muamba is well enough to be seen by his teammates.
The Scot is thought to be happy to let his players see their colleague.
