Thomas Tuchel "very satisfied" with Borussia Dortmund triumph

Thomas Tuchel admits that he was "very satisfied" with Borussia Dortmund's display in the 3-1 win over Werder Bremen.

Thomas Tuchel has paid tribute to his Borussia Dortmund players after claiming a 3-1 victory over Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Goals from Marco Reus either side of Henrikh Mkhitaryan's header clinched the points as Dortmund reduced Bayern Munich's lead at the top of the Bundesliga to five points.

After watching his side take their tally of goals in the past week to 15, Tuchel was quick to reveal his delight with the standard of the performance.

"I am very, very satisfied. A big compliment to my team," he told reporters. "In the first half we still had some problems - we could not prevent all of their counter-attacks. We were happy with the lead.

"I am very pleased with the second half though, we never lost concentration.

"I saw a good signal from our team that we are able to concentrate solely on ourselves."

Dortmund now switch their focus to the Europa League ahead of Qabala's visit on Thursday.
