Hugo Lloris has claimed that it is crucial for Tottenham Hotspur to have a confident Harry Kane leading the line each week.
After scoring just once in the opening nine Premier League games this season, Kane returned to form in style last weekend by leading Spurs to a 5-1 triumph over Bournemouth with a hat-trick at Dean Court.
Mauricio Pochettino's side are now unbeaten in nine league matches, and Lloris has underlined the importance of Kane being back to his best in front of goal.
"We talk about the situation. It's not easy He's really professional, he works hard and creates a lot but he was not rewarded for his effort for the team," the captain told the club's website. "Sometimes when you don't expect it you score a lot like at Bournemouth, where he scored a hat-trick.
"His confidence is back. He's still young, we all know his potential and his importance for the team and the club and we want to see Harry with a smile."
Spurs will move up to fifth with victory against Aston Villa on Monday.
