Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings has stated that manager Eddie Howe was a key factor in his decision to join the Cherries.
The 22-year-old has moved to the Premier League newcomers from Ipswich Town on a four-year deal.
Mings says that he has been impressed with the work that Howe has done at Dean Court.
"The manager had a big impact on my decision to come down here," Mings told BBC Sport. "He is probably one of the most exciting young English managers.
"To come and work for him and learn new ideas and different aspects of the game, positionally and tactically, I think is really going to benefit me and my game. I think it will bring me on a long way."
Mings made 64 appearances for Ipswich during his three years at Portman Road.
