Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks is reportedly edging closer to a switch to Bournemouth.

Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks is reportedly edging closer to a switch to Bournemouth.

The 20-year-old, who has scored three goals in 33 appearances for the Blades, signed a new four-year deal at Bramall Lane in October.

According to Sky Sports News, however, the Welsh international is expected to reject a stay in South Yorkshire for a switch to the south coast.

The source says that Brooks will undergo a medical with Bournemouth on Thursday, ahead of the move being completed by the end of this week.

Brooks has made three appearances for Wales after making his international debut in November.
