Half-Time Report: No goals for Brighton & Hove Albion, Derby County

Brighton & Hove Albion and Derby County remain level following a goalless first half at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton & Hove Albion and Derby County have headed into half time level following a goalless first half at the Amex Stadium in the Championship this evening.

There was an early scare for the home side when Jeff Hendrick attempted to curl the ball past David Stockdale, but his strike was kept out by the crossbar.

Brighton's first chance of the match fell to Sam Baldock when Lewis Dunk set him up for a driven effort from the left-hand side of the box, but Lee Grant made the save.

The visitors looked the more likely as the half-hour mark approached, with Tom Ince seeing two quick-fire efforts blocked after Johnny Russell put the through-ball in.

Danny Holla attempted to open the scoring for the visitors with a long-range free kick, but his strike was always rising, while Bruno was flagged for offside while looking to get on the end of a Beram Kayal delivery.

Ince came close again in stoppage time, firing a powerful effort towards the Brighton goal in the final seconds of the first half, but the keeper punched it clear.
