Brighton & Hove Albion boss Oscar Garcia praised his players for their performance as they scored a late goal to book their place in the playoffs on Saturday afternoon.
Leonardo Ulloa's late header was enough to give the Seagulls a 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest to pip Reading to the final spot in the Championship.
Speaking to the club's official website, the Spanish coach said: "We never gave up, we always thought we would score; I always believed we could. It is impossible to score if you don't believe. I am so proud of my players.
"We know what Leo can do here, and he showed exactly why he plays most of the minutes in most of the games.
"I would also like to acknowledge both Nottingham Forest and Burnley for the way they approached the two matches. Both teams gave everything, and that would not always happen in some leagues around the world."
Brighton are joined in the playoffs by Wigan Athletic, Queens Park Rangers and Derby County.
