Portsmouth defender Matt Clarke will reportedly undergo a medical with Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow.
The 22-year-old - a graduate of the Ipswich Town academy - was Pompey's player of the year last season, featuring as an ever-present in their ultimately unsuccessful push for promotion.
According to The Sun, Brighton have beaten off a number of suitors to sign the centre-back, who has agreed terms on a four-year contract.
The newspaper says that the south coast side will pay £3.4m for his signature, a fee that could rise to £5m with add-ons.
During his four seasons with Kenny Jackett's side, Clarke has already racked up 175 appearances in all competitions, contributing nine goals, and has won the EFL Trophy and the League Two title.
