Burnley complete George Boyd signing

Burnley sign Hull City midfielder George Boyd for an undisclosed fee.

Burnley have announced the signing of George Boyd from Hull City for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old midfielder has agreed a three-year deal at Turf Moor.

Boyd joined Hull on a permanent basis in May 2013 after helping the club to win promotion to the Premier League during a loan spell at the KC Stadium.

The Scotland international made 39 appearances for the Tigers last season in all competitions.

Boyd has become Burnley's eighth signing of the summer transfer window.
