Schalke 04: 'Christian Fuchs staying put'

Christian Fuchs will not be leaving Schalke 04 for Hull City or any other club, according to general manager Horst Heldt.

Schalke 04 general manager Horst Heldt has insisted that Christian Fuchs will not be leaving the club today.

The Austrian left-back has recently been linked with a £3m switch to Premier League side Hull City.

However, with 12 months left to run on his contract with the Bundesliga outfit, Heldt has revealed that Schalke have no intention of parting with the 28-year-old.

"Christian Fuchs has a contract left at our club [and] I can confirm Christian Fuchs will stay at our club," he told reporters.

Fuchs joined his current employers from VfL Bochum in 2011.
