Report: Burnley to sign Matt Taylor

Matt Taylor will become Burnley's third signing of the summer, according to a report.

Newly-promoted Premier League team Burnley are reportedly close to a deal to bring former West Ham United left-back Matt Taylor to the club.

Taylor, who played for Burnley's rivals Bolton Wanderers between 2008 and 2011, will undergo a medical at the Clarets later on Thursday, according to Sky Sports News.

The player was released at the end of the season by West Ham upon the expiry of his contract and is expected now to sign a two-year deal with Burnley.

Burnley have already added both Michael Kightly and Michael Gilks to their squad this summer.
