Nicolas Jackson returns to Chelsea's starting lineup for Wednesday's FA Cup fourth round replay against Aston Villa.

Nicolas Jackson has been recalled to Chelsea's starting lineup for Wednesday's FA Cup fourth round replay against Aston Villa.

Having represented Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, Jackson returned to the Blues squad for the 4-2 defeat versus Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, being introduced as a second-half substitute.

However, the forward is included by Mauricio Pochettino for the game in the West Midlands in what is one of three changes made by the Argentine.

Benoit Badiashile has been recalled to the middle of the backline, while Noni Madueke is provided with a start on the right flank.

Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling and Christopher Nkunku are the trio to drop down to the bench, joining former Villa youngster Carney Chukwuemeka.

Meanwhile, Unai Emery has stuck with the Villa XI from the 5-0 victory at Sheffield United on Saturday evening, aside from one enforced alteration.

Ezri Konsa has been ruled out with a knee injury for a number weeks, resulting in Matty Cash being brought back into the team.

New signing Morgan Rogers is unable to feature in this contest courtesy of having already represented Middlesbrough in this year's competition.
