Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink reveals Loic Remy groin injury

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink admits that Loic Remy's latest groin injury could rule him out for the rest of the season.

Guus Hiddink has revealed that Chelsea striker Loic Remy is suffering with a groin injury which may rule him out for the rest of the season.

The French striker started the 4-0 win at Aston Villa last weekend but had to come off in the first half with the problem.

At his pre-match press conference before Saturday's trip to Swansea City, Hiddink told reporters that Remy, along with Eden Hazard, John Terry, and Nemanja Matic, would be out this weekend and said that the former may not play again this term.

Hiddink was also asked about the man who will replace him at the Stamford Bridge helm this summer, current Italy boss Antonio Conte.

"He is equipped and he is able and he's used to the pressure at big clubs to win titles," the Dutchman said of the former Juventus manager.

Hiddink could welcome back Gary Cahill this weekend, with the England international set to undergo a late fitness test on a tendon issue.
