Jose Mourinho: 'Oscar to also miss West Bromwich Albion trip'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho expects Oscar to miss the trip to West Bromwich Albion with an unspecified injury.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that midfielder Oscar could also miss next weekend's visit to West Bromwich Albion through injury.

The Brazilian playmaker sat out the Blues' trip to Manchester City this afternoon with an unspecified problem.

Although Mourinho says that the injury is not a "big one", the Portuguese believes that the 23-year-old will also be sidelined for the clash with Albion on Sunday.

"Oscar's injury isn't a big one but it stops him from playing today and probably next week," he told Sky Sports News.

Ramires deputised for Oscar at Eastlands. Follow the second half of that encounter with Sports Mole's live commentary here.
